Meat & Trophy Care
If one of your party scores, meat care becomes a priority – and is the law.
We can run up the river and meet you to pick up your game so others can keep hunting, or you can come back to the lodge for a rest as long or short as you wish. You can add a black bear, wolf, or wolverine to your hunt if desired, or simply enjoy fishing for the balance of your time.
We can usually bring out your gear, camp and trophies in one trip home – saving you thousands in extra airplane trips from other outfits.
Freezers at the Lodge
We have large freezers to handle your meat initially, but from there it can be donated to local villagers or you can process it at the lodge for packaging and shipping home as desired. This can get expensive!
Transport Home
You can use Alaska Cargo, or take meat and antlers in frozen meat boxes of 50lbs each as checked baggage. Please coordinate with Alaska Airlines prior to your hunt to determine which option is best for you.

Additionally, there are expiditers that can help you in shipping your cape and antlers after you arrive with them to Anchorage, or you can cut the antlers off the skull plate, box them up, and mail them home.
